Title Case SideThroughout 2014 the IUCN are celebrating the significant contribution of The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in guiding conservation action and policy decisions over the past 50 years. The IUCN Red list is an invaluable conservation resource, a health check for our planet – a Barometer of Life.

More information about the 50th anniversary celebration, including a series of Red List facts that will grow over the course of 2014 and a striking new promotional brochure, is available on the IUCN website.
