Matt G and TealWe are pleased to announce that Dr. Matthieu Guillemain has agreed to become the DSG Regional Coordinator for Europe. Regional Coordinators assist with the development and support of DSG activities and, with the Chair, collectively form a Steering Committee. It is great to have Matt on board in this role.

Matthieu is an engineer for the French Office National de la Chasse et de la Faune Sauvage, who have kindly provided support for him to carry out this role. Matt’s main research topic is the dynamics of exploited populations, mostly dabbling ducks and especially Eurasian Teal. He is also interested in foraging and anti-predator behaviours, and the link between this and duck habitat use strategies.

We wish him every success in this key role for the DSG.
